In 1930s the Chrysler Building battled the Empire State Building for the tallest title and after 4 decades the battle for the tallest started again and now finally Burj Dubai holds the title of the tallest. The exact height is not yet disclosed by the officials though the the height now on deck is 2950ft and is expected to be completed by 2009.
The top of the building is a steel frame structure which can be adjusted upward to break any late challenges. The final can be anywhere around 3084ft. That is like around a kilometer vertically upward.
